Seminar Objective

The training outlines and provides discussion opportunities regarding the main types of leadership behaviour. Seminar participants are given the opportunity to review and to optimise their own leadership behaviour. Participants will learn to lead others more successfully and to tackle and achieve personal goals with more self-assurance as well as to assess the impact of their own leadership behaviour on others.

Seminar Content

  • Getting to know various leadership styles and understanding their impact on the relationship between superior and employee
  • Increasing awareness of leadership behaviour with the help of leadership related role plays
  • Basic knowledge of various kinds of leadership styles
  • Fundamental knowledge of human nature relevant for leadership behaviour
  • Communication techniques applicable to leadership
  • Motivating employees: prerequisite for successful cooperation
  • Praise and criticism as a means of leadership
  • Creation of 'free space' to be used in a creative way by leaders and employees
  • Establishing a dense communication network with and among employees
  • Achieving consent and conflict resolution
  • Getting to know various types of conflict occuring in day-to-day work / life in order to avoid, resolve or work through a conflict
  • The prerequisites for achieving a staff-focused leadership style / swift action
  • Reflection on one's own behaviour and its effect on others

The training „Leadership Behaviour“ addresses upper and middle management from corporates of all sizes and industries as well as management from the financial and public sectors.
